I really loved this brewery. One of my favorite parts was the intimate feel it had, but I am not sure if this was out of the norm since I visited on the evening of Columbus’s famous Red, White and Boom celebration so there were far fewer people at this brewery.  As you enter, it feels like you have entered a restaurant.  Unfortunately, I did not eat here, but the menu, as well as the plates of food being brought out, looked delicious!  I would consider this place an upscale gastropub brewery.

As you walk toward the back to the bar you can see the huge beer brewing tanks off to the back left and the bar to the right.  The bartender was extremely friendly and we talked quite a bit about beers and breweries.  He also explained Wolf Ridge’s plans to expand with a tap room which will positively enhance any brewery!

I had a flight of five beers.  Two of them were Belgians; a dubbel and a trippel.  I thought they were among the best of those beer styles that I have ever had.  They did a superb job!  I also tried a new style of beer called a roggenbier so I enjoyed their openness to experiment.

Although I did not eat, the menu provided food you might find in a fine restaurant rather than the usual bar fare.  The presentation of the food was highly artistic and appealing.
