Two Roads had everything I love in a brewery minus just one thing.  Out front was a food truck and inside they allow you to order from a variety of restaurants.  Already off to a great start when you have all of these food options.  Next the brewery was massive with an enormous tasting room.  The set up of the tasting room was wonderful with a long oval bar with terrific service and attention.  There was another small ball at the other end.  The bar stools had swivel seats to allow you to socialize with those behind you.  There were numerous other spots to sit and drink.  The place was packed with people.  Two Roads also offers tours for the inexpensive price of only $5 which give you a great tour and some tastes along the way.  The brewery has their own gift shop where you can get everything imaginable from tshits, signs, and posters with the logos of heir beers.  They even sell their beers to go by single bottles or six packs.  I am loving everything I see and currently at a 5 star rating for Two Roads.

But….then I tried the beer.  I was totally unimpressed with every single beer I tried.  The Rosemary’s Baby had the coolest logo, but was one of the worst pumpkin beers I have ever tried.  I was excited to try their imperial IPA (a double IPA), but again this was the worst imperial IPA I have ever tried.  You can’t mess up a black beer, right?  But theirs was unimpressive.  Drinking their beers was joyless and I struggled to get them down.  It is a shame because this brewery has so much going for it, but what’s the point if your beer us subpar?
