I enjoy the name and it is a great alibi to tell someone that you are working late at “The Office”.  It is in a great location on the corner of a major intersection in downtown Delray.  There are many tables on the sidewalk as well as at the bar to people watch.  I enjoyed this atmosphere to drink some beers.  The Office has a decent selection of craft beers to choose from.

Since this is a gastropub I definitely wanted to try their food.  They offered both food and drink happy hour specials which is always nice.  I was a bit disappointed with their tator tots.  The description far exceeded their taste.  On the other hand, the quesadilla was delicious and was prepared in a unique way.  Both are examples of a fine menu of food that goes perfectly with drinking some beers.

I was a little disappointed with the service.  I sat down at the bar which should always be the best service as you are staring the bartenders in the face.  The only person near me was 3 seats down and seemed to know the bartender.  Despite coming back to him over and over, I continued to sit there waiting for even a menu.  Finally, I helped myself to a drink menu only to continue waiting and waiting for service.  Eventually another bartender asked if I had been served.

The bathrooms were very nice.  As you approach it there is a shared sink area.  Why pick up a girl at the bar when you can do it at the sink?  Lol.  In the men’s stall there was a comfy (yes, I tried it out) red sofa chair.  I have no idea who is coming to the bathroom and sitting on that sofa chair, but it sure looked cool in there.
