I love the entire concept here.  Craft beer and gastropub style food served on a higher level of quality.  If that is not enough, I have always been a fan of places that deal in small dishes.  Normally at a restaurant, I am looking for the victim that I will convince to split two meals with just so I can try more of the food.  However, Sugarcane operates on that tapas style portions and so when I go there is an endless parade of delicious food.  To top that off, many types of foods means that I will need to order a variety of styles of beers to enjoy with the various plates.  It is an endless cycle of gluttonous happiness.  The menu is so fun and unique with offerings like:
*duck and waffle crispy leg confit and duck egg
*fall pumpkin risotto with black truffle and marscarpone
*kimchee beef tartare quail egg
*bone marrow veal cheek marmalade

Seating options and atmosphere are great too.  You can eat inside at a table for a standard dining experience.  There are tables outside so you can enjoy the beautiful weather all while people watching.  And then there is the bar.  A huge bar that is half inside, half outside, and 100% busy.  Most everything is pricey, but what would you expect from a gastropub fine dining establishment in this area?
