I’ve enjoyed this bar more and more each time I return.  I have never even sat outside which I think would be a great experience as well to be right out on Las Olas watching all of the action of the night.  Now inside, I really enjoy the bar.  It is a long, long oval bar.  On one side there are regular bar chairs, but on my latest visit I sat on the other side of the bar.  The floor on this side is raised higher and since there is less space between the floor and bar they provide comfy chairs rather than bar stools.  I really enjoyed this and it was one of the most relaxing experience at a bar.

It is always a scene of the beautiful people of Fort Lauderdale.  Usually with this comes higher prices, but I have to say, all things considering for the location and trendy factor, the prices aren’t too terrible.  The Royal Pig’s food is way above average for bar food.  On my last visit I enjoyed a delicious rotisserie free range turkey club with cranberry walnut bread, Vermont cheddar cheese, bacon, cranberry compote an avocado.  Whatever you order, do not miss out on the sweet potato fries.

You can’t talk about a good bar without mentioning its beer selection.  Royal Pig never disappoints with a nice collection of twenty craft beers.  They even serve up two of their own Royal Pig brews.  If you’re not into beer they have plenty of wines and cocktails.
