This was my second visit to a ROK:BRGR, but amazingly I did not eat the first time I was at one.  This time was the whole experience with food and beers.  They were out of my first two choices of beer which was disappointing because it is rare for me to find a bottle that I’ve never had.  The beer menu is pretty respectable.  I love the location in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.  This could be a pre or post stop for a night out drinking, or it could be one of the main places on your Ft. Lauderdale bar crawl.

The burger was stellar!  I ordered the sloppiest creation.  There was no escape from having your hands covered in stickiness and that was a-ok with me.   I ordered the fat Elvis with creamy peanut butter, smoked bacon and jam.  If the peanut butter and jam wasn’t going to make it messy enough, I ordered what every self-respecting burger consumer needs on their patty, and that’s an egg.  It all blended together wonderfully.  The only thing missing is for it to be served on a glazed donut.  I mean it is named after Elvis, right?  There are a tremendous amount of other exciting options on their menu and I can’t wait to come back.  Just have your beer stocked up next time!
