These are the exact type of places I love for beer.  It’s a brewery in which you can only get the beer on site or by a growler.  The Guvnor brews six beers with fun names and so naturally I needed to sample all of them:  Vanilla Sky Cream Ale, Thirsty Bitches, SONO Red Velvet, Guts & Glory IPA, Black Magic Stout, and Skinny Jeans.  On top of drinking these specially brewed beers, Guvnor’s is a great bar and ideal for watching a sporting event.

They have a food menu with items exceeding the stereotypical “bar food”.  However, the food was very average.  When I order mussels I expect a mouth-watering broth, but this was very subpar.  I had heard that the fries were very good and they turned out to be the tastiest food item.  In the end, it’s about the beer at a brewery and these beers did not disappoint.
