My first visit was on a not that does not really give me the “normal” vibe of this place as I was here for a costume party.  However, from the looks of the place, I would love to come back.  This place is what you think of when you imagine chilling with a beer in your hand.  There is a nice outdoor patio to do some downtown Ft. Lauderdale people watching.  The bar itself has two levels.  However, it is a high ceiling with both floors under one roof.  I enjoyed this because it made the bar seem really open from the first floor, and the second floor has a balcony to look down on the goings-on on the first floor.  The second floor is fantastic.

There is a full bar up there with an elevated floor for a pool table.  The walls are decorated like a library of sorts.  There are two framed paintings that would normally hold the portrait of a king, but in this case one was of Bill Murray and the other of  Chuck Norris.  Too funny!  There are various types of gambling-for-fun amusements such as playing cards and mini roulette and craps board games that helps take you back to those early 1900’s days.  In fact the entire vibe is kind of like a speak-easy during prohibition.  You could be standing right in front of the bar and not know it because there is no sign for bar Stache.  Around the corner there is a large painting of a stache!  I would really like to go back on an evening when it is a regular night with music.  I will definitely be coming back!!
